As we approach the busy festive season, we’re reminding residents to stay alert to two issues that always rise at this time of year: parcel theft and tailgating into residential blocks.

With more people ordering gifts and deliveries, opportunists are on the lookout for easy chances to steal unattended parcels from communal areas, doorsteps, and shared hallways. Please take a moment to secure your deliveries wherever possible, and avoid leaving packages in open or shared spaces.

We’re also seeing an increase in tailgating, where individuals follow residents into secure buildings without permission. Even if it feels polite to hold the door, please make sure you know who you are letting in. A quick check can prevent access by someone who shouldn’t be inside the block.
